  • Gifted Education in Kindergarten

Kindergarten students receive enrichment within the regular classroom during the school day provided by the general education teacher. Differentiation takes the form of enriched activities in various subject areas.

    Gifted Education in 1st–8th Grades

General Education teachers facilitate cluster grouping in the classroom. The gifted education teacher provides “push-in and pull-out” gifted education services at the school sites.  The gifted education teacher collaborates with the cluster teacher to provide differentiated instruction in the way of an enriched curriculum that is more challenging and offers extension activities and independent research projects. Projects require higher-order and creative thinking skills.
